The character of Mr Jolly Fooker is an exploration of living with neurodivergence. He is a reflection of the chaos, creativity and constant activity that goes on inside my head.
The images are generated directly from the countless quickly drawn illustrations I produce in my art journals, which have become a way of coping when feeling overwhelmed and making sense of my thoughts.
His name comes from a completely unrelated Sleaford Mods song, Mr Jolly Fucker. Somehow, the name just stuck. I heard the song, and it seemed perfect for this manic, multi-faced alien who lives inside my brain.
